Key Highlights of the Apprenticeship
✔️Total Vacancies: 29 (tentative).
✔️Stipend: Selected candidates will receive a consolidated stipend of Rs 12,300/- per month.
✔️Training Duration: One (1) year.

- Online Application Opening Date: 21.11.2025 at 10:00 Hrs.
- Online Application Closing Date: 05.12.2025 at 23:00 Hrs
✔️Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have a full-time degree (Graduation) in the relevant field (Engineering/Technology, Commerce, Science, or Arts) and must have passed the qualifying examination in 2023, 2024, or 2025.
✔️Branches Available:
- Engineering/Technology: Mechanical (18), Production (2), Electrical & Electronics (1), Electronics & Communication (2), Civil (1), Computer Science/Information Technology (2).
- Non-Engineering: Accountant - B.Com (2), Assistant (HR) - B.Sc or B.A (2).
✔️Minimum Marks: 60% for UR/OBC(NCL)/EWS candidates and 50% for SC/ST candidates.
✔️Age Limit (as on 01.11.2025): Minimum 18 years and Maximum 27 years (age relaxations apply for SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates).
✔️Domicile Restriction: Only candidates who passed their qualifying examination from academic institutions located in the State of Tamil Nadu will be considered initially.
✔️How to Apply
- Mandatory Registration: Candidates must first register on the Ministry of Education/GOI portal at https://nats.education.gov.in to obtain their 16-digit unique apprenticeship registration number.
- Online Application: After NATS registration, candidates must apply online through the BHEL Trichy Portal link: https://trichy.bhel.com - Apprenticeship Application Portal (THIRUMAYAM).
The selection process will be based on a merit list drawn from the marks secured in the qualifying examination. Apprenticeship completion does not guarantee any right to employment at BHEL.
