Vacancy Details
AIIMS has notified a total of 2,551 posts for Nursing Officers.
Educational Qualification
- B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council/State Nursing Council recognized Institute or University.
- OR B.Sc. (Post-Certificate) / Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing.
- OR Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery (GNM) with 2 years of experience in a minimum 50-bedded hospital.
- Registration: Candidates must be registered as Nurses & Midwife with the State/Indian Nursing Council.
Age Limit (as of March 16, 2026)
- Minimum: 18 Years
- Maximum: 30 Years
- (Age relaxation applies for SC/ST/OBC/PWBD/Ex-Servicemen as per Govt. rules).
Application Fee
- The fee must be paid online via Debit Card, Credit Card, or Net Banking.
- General / OBC: ₹3,000/-
- SC / ST / EWS: ₹2,400/-
- PH (Divyang): Exempted (No Fee)

Selection Process
The selection is a two-stage process:
- NORCET Preliminary (Stage I): A qualifying exam to shortlist candidates for the Mains.
- NORCET Mains (Stage II): The final merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in this stage.
- Document Verification: For candidates who clear the merit list.
