The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has released the official notification for the recruitment of 560 Pharmacists (Bheshajik) under the Directorate of Medical and Health Services, UP. This recruitment is a major opening for pharmacy diploma holders who appeared in the PET 2025 exam.

Vacancy (Category-Wise)

The 560 posts are divided to ensure fair representation across various categories:
  • General (UR): 224 Posts
  • OBC: 151 Posts
  • SC: 118 Posts
  • EWS: 56 Posts

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for the "Mains" examination, candidates must fulfill the following:
  • Mandatory Exam: Must have a valid UPSSSC PET 2025 scorecard (with non-zero/non-negative marks).
  • Academic Qualification: A Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) from a recognized board or institute.
  • Council Registration: Registration with the State Pharmacy Council, Uttar Pradesh, is compulsory.

Age Limit & Relaxations

  • Minimum Age: 18 Years
  • Maximum Age: 40 Years
  • Age is calculated as of July 1, 2026. Reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/Ex-Servicemen) receive age relaxation as per UP State Government norms.

Application Fee

The commission has kept a standard processing fee for all applicants:
  • All Categories: ₹25
  • Payment Method: Online via SBI I-Collect (Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking).

Salary & Pay Scale

The post offers a stable and attractive salary package under the UP Government:
  • Pay Level: Level-5
  • Pay Matrix: ₹29,200 – ₹92,300
  • Grade Pay: ₹2,800
  • Additional Benefits: DA, HRA, and other medical allowances as per state rules.

Examination Pattern & Syllabus

The selection will be based on a written test. Understanding the weightage is key to your preparation:
  • Part 1: Subject Knowledge (Pharmacy): 65 Questions
  • Part 2: Computer & Information Technology: 15 Questions
  • Part 3: General Knowledge (Uttar Pradesh Special): 20 Questions
  • Total: 100 Marks | Time: 120 Minutes
  • Negative Marking: 0.25 (1/4th) mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.

  • Authentication: Enter the OTP sent to your registered mobile number.
  • Details: Your basic details will be pre-filled from your PET record. Enter your Pharmacy Diploma and Registration details.

  • Final Print: Download and print the application form for future reference.
